Slope safe sandals.

This is a project based in a certain location by seaside in Taiwan, around Xiaguirou Mt. where farmers harvest on sandy fields and hills. The zigzag structured sole prevents the sandal from slipping down sandy slopes.

The style is heavily inspired by Traditional Japanese clogs and Taiwanese farmer boots. And the title of the project is given by this beautiful spot in Taiwan: “Rou” stands for “tender”, and “Shan” stands for “mountain”.
